New Year Postmark brushes

The New Year is just a day away :)

I wish you all the very best for the coming year.

I have created a couple of fun postmark type slightly grungy brushes for the New Year.

The zip contains .png files which you can use to create brushes for your favourite graphics program.

I've also included some different "colourways" and a bonus postcard image.

BTW For the stars in the background of my preview I used my "Scrappy Stars 3" brush.

The pretty floral wreath on this card includes New South Wales Christmas Bush [Ceratopetalum gummiferum], Hawkebury River Daisies [Brachyscome multifida] and Agapanthus..all now blooming in my part of the world :)

Folded card is 5 inches X 7 inches.

This card has been laid out ready to print :)

Painted Winter Skies Textures

Yes we are very wintery in my part of the world! Frost on the ground this morning but wind dropped to a lovely day with a top of 15C.

I find cloud textures always useful and I hope you enjoy these which have a painted 3 dimensional look.

Use "as is" or with a coloured or patterned overlay.

A Tricolour Rosette - Une Cocarde Tricolore

2 tricolour rosettes ..one with a somewhat "aged" look.

Both in .png format 867 X 1771 ppi -suitable for printing projects.
[Of course these rosettes would be suitable for any red white and blue patriotic colours]

Anzac Day Word Art 2012

On 25th of April each year peoples of Australia and New Zealand commemorate those servicemen who together served their respective countries in times of conflict.

The date is significant as the day of the first landings of a combined force at Gallipoli in 1915.

A dawn service is held in many centres and a street parade of veterans and service units.

In my word art , I have tried to capture a reflection of their decorations worn on the day.

Images are in .png format.

New Photo Enhancement Tutorial for Paint Shop Pro

This is an edge effect which I have found useful for enhancing photos and other images.

I've placed a copy of this Paint Shop Pro tutorial on our PSP for TOC website.

Scattered Hearts Brushes for Paint Shop Pro

These 2 brushes are not simple "stamp" brushes but rather have scripts associated with them which will give them variance when applied.

Each has also some degree of jitter effect to randomise position, size and other attributes.

I found them useful to provide background texture in a slightly random grungy fashion.

Chinese New Year 2012

The Chinese New Year is just around the corner.

My best wishes to all my Chinese friends..may you have health, happiness and good fortune this coming year.

The three black .png files can easily be converted to brushes or recoloured to suit your needs.

All are at 200 dpi and are 800-1000 pixels wide so large enough for printables.

If you use Paint Shop Pro you may wish to use one of my scripts for a quick conversion :)

I've also included in the free zip some files I've made with these.
