Festive Stripey Papers

Festive Striped Papers from Judy Click to enlarge
It is hard to illustrate these papers here in a reduced form, but they really have a lovely sheen. They print out particularly well on gloss paper and make rather nice backgrounds for Christmas and other gift cards.
The bow of course is from my Ribbons and Bows collection.

Papers are 3600 X 3600 at 300dpi
I have used one of the papers to make this card from our Vintage Card Gallery.

Christmas Papers 09

Click on image above to enlarge.
Here is the first of my offerings for TOC Colour Co-ordinated Christmas Gifts. I had in mind to create some somewhat muted papers with my palette of colours but well...hmmmm
Colours are those which will co-ordinate with those of other group members' Christmas goodies.
You can read more details about our Christmas Gift Ideas HERE
All these papers are 3600 X 3600 at 300 dpi They are quite "rich" looking and I think would be ideal for creating old time cards, papers etc. They are not all particularly "Christmassy" so would also be useful for heritage style album pages.
An example of one of my papers:

Halloween Stencils -Brushes

My Halloween Stencils previously available as PSP preset shapes are now available as high resolution .png files for use as brushes.
Each Approximately 2500 X 2500 pixels at 300 dpi ..all vector drawn.

Halloween Stencils --PSP Shapes

Some fun stencils for your Halloween Pumkins!
These are Paint Shp Pro Preset Shapes, so they are ideal to reshape to fit :)

I used a great pumpkin photograph from Wikimedia Commons to easily make my fun image.

Original

The shapes were applied as a new vector layer and selections made from them to "cut out" my Jack 'o Lanterns from my original image layer. [Selections>from Vector object]
I then used filter Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact > extrude to give thickness to my cut edges.
Finally I flood filled the layer below with a dark orange/red gradient.

CLICK TO ENLARGE Because these are vector shapes, they are easy to enlarge without loss of quality so they can be used easily to create a stencil for your REAL Pumpkin!
I'm sure you could make other use for them too!

By the way, I DO love to see creations made with my scrap materials !

Rosellas Desktop Wallpaper and Calendar desktop

One of my favourite birds that frequent our garden would have to be the pale headed Eastern Rosella, Platycercus adscitus. These birds are not as colourful as their cousins the Crimson Rosella and nowhere near as bossy and argumentative as the smaller lorikeets that manage to displace them from the bird feeder!
The image I've used for my desktop wallpapers is one of nineteenth century painter, John Gould's fabulous coloured engravings from "Birds of Australia".
To complement the image I've used papers from my Colours of an Australian forest collection.
There are 2 different desktop styles and 2 different colourways. Both zips have a desktop wallpaper in 4 sizes, one with and one without a calendar for August.

Colours of an Australian Forest-scrapbook papers

There are 6 different papers in this set of forest inspired grungy background papers.
Two are the more conventional Eucalypt forest colouring ..2 have a wintery feel and 2 reflect the forest at night.
The papers are 3600 X 3600 and are fairly heavily textured as you can see from the detail below. I think they would work well for contemporary images and also any heritage photos.
