Art Deco Border and background Tiles

Click to enlarge Zanny and rather bright, these .png border tiles have a metallic look.
Suitable as a border fill or as an overlay fill to create interesting patterned effects on papers.
Tiles are approx 360 X 270 at 300 dpi
[ the red paper in the background was created using a the red tile at reduced opacity over a dark red background]

The gold and silvery background tiles [.jpg] could also be used as border tiles too.

Both sets of tiles can be mixed and matched to make further patterns :)
In the card example below I have used the same tile fill in the frame as in the border but at a reduced size.

It is Anzac day here in Australia and also in New Zealand.
A day when we commemorate and remember those who fought and lost their lives for their country.
One thing I love about Paint Shop Pro is the ability to create and save multilayered preset vector shapes!
There are 2 different shapes in this DOWNLOAD ZIP.
I have included some tips and instructions for use.
For those using other imaging programs, I have created .png files of the shapes coloured and greyscale which can be recoloured as you wish.
DOWNLOAD ZIP for .png files
The latter can easily be converted into quality brushes.
Check out also the desktop wallpapers created by Joan and Chris to commemorate the day.

Art Deco Extras

These extra bits and pieces are designed to complement my previous Art Deco post.
A couple of these ornaments and the background papers were inspired by some earings which I found amongst some of my mother's jewellery :)
The frames are designed to fit a 5' X 7" photo, but of course can be easily resized.
The font used in my preview is Vila Morena by Ipanema Gráfica.
In the example below I have used one of the papers for "fill" in the frame and lowered the opacity to make it semi transparent.
Font used in this case is Oriel Modern Digitized by Dan X.
The swirly accents come from my "Swirly Accents" freebie recoloured to suit the page.

An Art Deco Scrapkit

Click on image above to enlarge

This month's sharing theme for the Touch of Class group is "Art Deco".

I have been a bit slow off the mark, but I do hope you enjoy this scrapkit. I had in mind quite a few of my family photos of the 1920s and 30s when I created i :)

It is full album sized at 300 dpi. Papers have a metallic look but of course all could be recoloured and adjusted to suit your project.

Kit is for personal use only but please feel free to use elements on your webpage if you wish. [ a link back here would be nice :) ]

You may be pleasantly surprised at the other ART DECO offerings of our team for this theme!
