Christmas Brushes 2011

I have left these files as .png files with transparent backgrounds, ready to recolour or convert into brushes.
Each is about 1400 X 1300 pixels or more.

I found them to be a nice size to print clearly on a tee shirt:)
HERE I have used one on a Printable Christmas card.

Free Zip to Download contains .png images and terms of use.

For those of you with Paint Shop Pro, you may find my Save Brush script useful for saving the brushes :)

Save Brush Script for Paint Shop Pro

I love using brushes and although I create many of my own, I have to admit to a collecting fetish :)
Many lovely and useful brushes are available as Photoshop brushes. These I convert to .png files using ABR Viewer or abrMate .
Invariably the brushes come in sets and the time taken to resize for use in Paint Shop Pro. and save using their original file name can be daunting.
To speed up the process I have written these scripts which enables quick resizing and save the file name as well as allowing the user to change file paths as needed.
Their are 2 scripts in the zip, One for versions 9 to X and the other for X1 and above.
Both or either should be placed in your Scripts trusted folder.

Scripts and Directions etc in the Free Zip [Direct Download]

A background paper [.jpg]
2 text overlays [.png]

This is my much loved great aunt Topsy Tyson who died in April 1919 whilst nursing wounded soldiers who had been repatriated to a military hospital in Sutton Verny, Wiltshire in England.
Topsy was born in Hay in New South Wales, the daughter of John Tyson and his first wife Theresa [Tess] Kelly.
She trained as a nurse at Bendigo Hospital in Victoria and enlisted in June 1915.
From 1915-1918 she served in France.
Topsy is buried at Sutton Verny.

A Tutorial for making an "Inch Brush" in Paint Shop Pro

Link to Brush Tutorial This tutorial was written some time ago for the TOC Updates Mailing list . I have had a couple of requests to post it to the web, so I have added it to the tutorial pages on PSP with TOC
The tutorial explains how to make a handy little brush which can then be used to make a ruler or graduated scale or even as I have used it above, to make a tape measure.
